The Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) is a program that offers emergency financial assistance to eligible low-income customers who are behind on their electricity bills and facing the possibility of disconnection. If you qualify for this program, you may be able to receive up to $500 (or up to $600 if your home is electrically heated) towards the amount that you owe on your bill.
